Swelling in between implants
Hi guys, I've read a few posts on this topic, and most girls have said that the tenting goes away in a couple of week. I'm just getting nervous because it's been 6 weeks already and it hasn't gone down yet. I'm considering ordering a thong bra but not sure if there is much point? They are under the muscle and when I flex my pecs they seperate...so I'm hoping I won't develop symmastia...I just really hate this tenting.
I was just hoping that someone else had tenting for more than a couple of weeks so they could reassure me that it might go away lol Also does anyone recommend the thong bra for speeding up this process? Cheers

Hmmm, I had swelling in between them for a couple of weeks, but nothing that made the skin lift up. Just a bit squishy to the touch. From what I've read when girls have talked about symmastia, the tenting goes away when they flex too, but I'm not an expert on the matter.
I would definitely make an appt to ask your PS just for some extra piece of mind. If he doesn't give you answers then maybe get a second opinion also. Sorry to hear about your proplem, hope it all works out and good luck! |

I have had swelling for 6 weeks, after that it went down. I'm in week 8 now and it is still slightly present but almost gone.

I had swelling between my girls after BA. You can see it in some of my photos in my profile. It went away around the third week.
I heard swelling can last for several weeks. At my 1 month post op a few days ago, my PS said I still had some swelling! I totally can't see what he is talking about but, I guess a trained eye can tell. |
