I had my BA on July 25th, I called my PS and asked if I could take my Ace off he said no not until he see's me on Aug.20th to have my stiches removed. Have any of you had to wear this thing that long?

I didn't wear a strap, ACE Bandage, Bra, sports bra or nothing.(per PS) So I have no clue. Many PS do different things, so it's very possible those are your instructions and I would follow them!!!!!!

I took my ace bandage off the day after surgery and my stitches were removed on day 10.

man u has ur BA before me and had to wait a very long time before getting ur stitches out! im going tomorrow to get mine taken out and i dont have to wear my bandage anymore either i can wear a sports bra.. im really confused to why u have to wear it for a month? but all ps are different

I have to wear a strap over the top of my boobs to help position the implant into the pocket my PS has made, I have to wear this awful thing every night when I go to bed for 2 months post op. I am almost 1 month post op now.

I'd say do whatever your ps says. I've only worn the strap from week 2 to now, and I will keep wearing it until she tells me otherwise.

Hi - I had to wear an ace bandage til the stitches came out - but that was only 8 days later. Now my PS has me wearing a strap 24/7 for the next month (I guess we'll see after that) but I have a feeling I'll be wearing the darned thing for 2-3 months

Still, if it does the job, I will definitely comply with whatever he says!
