My upper back was killing me too for the first 5 days. I was a little worried but it just started to subside. Guess it's just my body adjusting to the new 'girls'.

Hope your back feels better soon

Mine hurt too. All that helped was a heating pad our a hot shower.

Oh yes! After the first 3 or 4 days it seemed as if my back hurt more than my boobs! =) I think it was because I had to sleep propped up on my back for so long when I'm normally a side/tummy sleeper. Definitely try a heating pad though. I found that to be of some comfort. I hope you feel better real soon. The upside is that it does eventually go away.....HTH.

God I feel for you!

I remember in the beginning, that was the worst! Because you can't lay down you are always putting pressure on your lower back. Trying angeling the pillows so you aren't totally sitting up and put a pillow under your needs to take some pressure off your back. I also used a heating pad which helped out some too. God, I cringe when I think of the horrible back pain. Plus, try and move around some, too. I found that I was laying around too much which was making my muscles tighten up even more. Walk around if you can and try and get some movement going.

Hope you feel better!

Take care,
Josie

Ditto on the heating pad!! I took ALL of my pain meds because my back hurt so bad the first week. It's normal, and it will get better I promise..
Hope you feel better soon, and congrats on new beautiful boobies!

Yeah, I remember that. It sucked. Heating pad and hot showers helps. Also, remember to stand up straight with your shoulders back and boobs out. The new additions tend to make us hunch over at first. It'll pass soon!

Me too. I got my first real good night's sleep last night, but my back is still sore right in between my shoulder blades.

completely normal! I remember having the worst lower back pain. i think alot of it had to do with sleeping upright. my ps told me to sleep propped up with a bunch of pillows or in a chair for the first week. and my muscles felt so tight i walked hunched over like an old lady for like the first three or four days. then i got to where i could actually stand up straight and then my back started to feel alot better, but i feel for you! i remember the horrific back pain!
