Hi,
My recovery has been going great I am told. I have had so much done to my body in the last week I feel like I was on the makeover show! I had 450CC's HP implants, Liposelect done to my chin, upper abs, inner and outer thighs, saddle bags and back. I have had hardly no pain becuase I have such a awesome surgeon! I will post pic's once I get home becuase I flew to Florida for this procedure. Anyhow I was just wondering how many of you had to sleep at a 45degree angle and for how long? I see my PS later today but I was just wondering.... Oh yeah on top of all of the above I got botox, restiline in my face, silicone lips, and tattoo eyebrows. Did I do it up or what My sister works for the PS and she knew what I needed and where! It was great all of it and I highly recommend their office to anyone in South Florida!! |

I was never really given instructions on how to sleep. It was impossible to sleep any other position the first week other than propped up. I guess around week 4-6, I was able to sleep on my side, but balled up part of my blanket to prop my boobs! At 6 weeks my ps released me for anything and everything, so long as it didnt hurt.

well my ps just told me at my one week to do what feels comfy for me.. if i lay on my belly and it feels fine to do it and only wear a sports bra for comfort now.. but most ps tell girls different so maybe u should call ur ps and ask him. he knows more about ur body and plus u had alot more work done then i did.. but i have been sleeping different now for about 5 days so i think it will be fine but def ask ur ps or the nurse!
p.s cant wait to see the outcome! u had alot of stuff done i bet u look amazing!

I'm 3 weeks out and still sleep propped up with pillows. Two behind my back/head. One on my left side (so I can kind of sleep sideways) and the other propping up my breast on the right side. I don't know how long this will last. But I'm used to it now.

I am 8 days out today and I slept in my kids room for 4 days and then I moved to the couch. At first I couldn't get into my bed which is the reason for sleeping in my kids room but then I moved to the couch once I could move around some. I am afraid to sleep in my bed because I am afraid that I will roll over on my breasts during the night and hurt them. lol I have always been a tummy sleeper so I figure if I just stay on the couch then I don't have a choice. I still sleep at a 45 degree angle on the couch though. I just have 2 pillows and a blanket that I use to prop up against the arm.
Also, I bet you look great!! Can't wait to see some pics! How long do you have to stay in Florida for?? Does your ps have to take your stitches out or do you have dissolvable? |

I am 4 days out and on my back, I expect I will be like this for a few weeks. Hubby actually asked me to sleep on the couch, cos he was scared of rolling into me or hurting something. But I actually find it quite comfortable!
I bet he won't be leaving me on the couch when these babies are healed though!! ![]() Take Care |

I was told by my PS to sleep in a 60 degree angle for 5-7 days. So I've been sleeping on this chair that I have at home. Ugh, I miss my bed. Tuesday I see him again for a 2nd Post-Op so I'm going to ask him if I can sleep on my side, back, chest, etc.

I was told to sleep propped up for at least the first week. Since then I have been more comfortable remaining on my wedge pillow. I am slowly starting to turn a bit from one side or the other but I often wake up when the boobies on that side have had enough and I roll over again. I am about 16 days out and slowly getting there! I do love my wedge!

WOW
My PS just said to do what was comfortable... But I slept that way for probably a month and still sleep that way at least 50% of the time and I am 6 months out. Good Luck!!
