I had my BA on Thursday...my worst pain was about the 4 hours after my surgery and then probably day two. The night of my surgery...once the pain meds started kicking in...I felt great. Day two, I was up and moving around, but I was pretty tight and sore. I have kept up on my pain meds about every 4-5 hours, so that has helped me. I would say I am having a fast recovery! day 2 was way easy which fooled me a bit, but i was prepared for day 3 to suck, and it did!!!

Day one was my worst but I didn't get out of bed for 3 days! The first day my back hurt so bad and I couldn't breath or move. I couldn't even scratch my nose! It was horrible. But everyday after that I have gotten better.

Day two was hell! Sitting up was the worst thing ever, I felt like my boobs were sliding down and tearing my breast tissue apart, ugh! I finally went potty on day 3 and felt 100 times better. Keep VERY hydrated, and take it very easy. I think the more you can sleep through the first 3 days the better, just medicate yourself to sleep

I'm only finishing my third day, so don't have much data to go on, but I'd say day 2 was the worst. I was expecting today to be bad but it really wasn't at all. That said, I did still take vicadin today to stave off the pains I felt coming on, but I spaced the drugs further apart.

My BF would probably say the first day was the worst, but I can barely recall that day at all. Day two wasn't awful, but it was pretty difficult to get out of bed.

Tonight I am going to take a valium to try and get a decent night sleep and then switch to tylenol tomorrow for the pain killers. I walked around the neighborhood today which felt great and plan to do more tomorrow!!

Day three in conjuction with a killer migraine and fever!! Every day after 4 was fine.

days three and four were awful. but for me, on my second surgery, the first whole 8 days has been rough. i am now 2 weeks post op and better.
