Question Is this normal?

Hello ladies,

I'm 13 days out of my re-do and this time I had crease incision. I had dissolvable stitches and my PS took my steri strips off on day 5. He told me not to use anything on them and not to clean. I didn't have any drainers or anything like that after my surgery. I had no bleeding at all, I had a slight bruising, kind of yellowish colour under both incisions and they are fading already. Since I read a lot about gauzes, cleaning the stitches, bleeding stitches etc, is it normal not to bleed at all? Should I be suspicious or should I just be grateful that I'm healing nicely.

Thanks

I also had a crease incision with dissolvable stitches, with the steri strips. Never had any bleeding or bruising at all. But, I am doing gauze for comfort and putting on scarguard and bactiguard.....

Same thing here! Steri strips came off after about a week and I was basically told to just leave them alone. No bleeding or bruising, just some redness that is sloooowly fading with time. It's all good!

My steri strips fell off around 2 weeks, no problems at all. No bruising or bleeding here.
