Well I went in just before 8.30am, it took 3 hours, apparently the PS really takes his time & is very pedantic, so the nurse told me.

I am amazed at how good I feel! No problem with the general. They kept me until 2.30pm, now I'm sitting in bed with my beautiful cat snuggled in with me & I feel good! I did take notice of one woman's post about drinking lot's of water for a few days beforehand, so maybe that helped too. I have to go back and check who it was, so I can thank her.

The nurse was surprised that the PS didn't even order antibiotics for me, said I must have done really well. I can't peek yet, cos I have so much foam padding around the bra, right up to my collarbone, so that's a bummer! This comes off in 2 days, so I'll have to wait until Wednesday to have a look.

So, thanks again to all the ladies that offered advice & suuport, that really made a difference going into this! You are like one big bunch of the girlfriends we all would love to have. ((HUGS))

I'm sure I'll have lots of questions over the next few weeks & months, and it's nice to know someone will be there.
