I too have this, but I just had weaned my baby on January 4 ~ 7 months ago. I had basically dried up 2 months ago, but now from all the massaging, have apparently started the milk production again. I talked to my PS on Friday about this and it is actually a good thing, because I know he didn't damage my milk ducks! LOL It will dry up in its own time. Hang in there!

I was going to ask if you'd had a baby. My son is almost 6 months old, never breast fed, and I still leak some. Go figure! I'm sure the daily massages would only stimulate it.

I had the same exact thing in my right breast. And considering I have never had children, I definitely was super surprised but my surgeon said that's to be expected because of the new pressure and stimulation of the nipple. He also pointed out that as long as it's not petroleum oil or brake fluid everything is FINE because that's the real purpose of breasts anyway lol

I think it's more common than we realize. I had a scare where I was leaking milk/colostrum years ago and I asked my OB. They did a brain MRI looking for an adenoma on my pituitary gland (non-cancerous tumor that can put pressure on the gland) as this can cause the problem. They found nothing. They said some people just get this and it's not a big deal. They did a blood draw and found my prolactin levels were elevated. I took some medication only because they said my body might possibly stop ovulating (not necessarily) and this would regulate my prolactin levels in order to help my body regulate. We were going to be trying for a baby soon, so I did that. Anyway...I still get it from time to time. My last test my levels were fine, even though I've got it still. Anyway, the doc said it was fine, but I'd ask your doc just to be sure. It's good to keep track of these things just in case.

I also leaked a little clear fluid one day about two weeks post-BA. I thought it was so strange because I stopped breastfeeding a year ago!
