my breasts are YET to get soft! so recovery has really dampered most of my excitement in getting them in the first place. i have to constantly remind myself of how far ive gotten and how much better i look than before the surgery.
often times scared to share this with others (and even here) for fear that others would quickly judge me "unappreciative" and "pessimist".
but honestly the recovery has REALLY zapped me of most of my enthusiasm.
i recently got my hair cut really short and i find im MORE excited (and get more attention) for my hair than my breasts!!
i did it (cut my long locks to a chic, short do) to feel good about myself and feel that SOMETHING is different about me.
slowly recovering.......

Luckily I didnt have any probs with my surgury but my meds made me so incredibly sick that I once was crying so bad I wish I never had done this. I am now 5 days out and feeling much better without the meds. Ya I have the tightness but I found lotion is really helping and soon we can massage which I heard helps a ton as well. Everyday gets a little better- I promise, I'm living proof!

Girl, don't ever be afraid to share any negative feelings about your BA with us. That's what we're all here for!! We talk about the good, the bad, and everything in between. With the amount of venting in my posts, I must sound like the most negative person on earth when that couldn't be further from the truth! You can be honest on here- that's the beauty of the forum. There is no need to have to impress anyone or make your recovery seem any easier than it actually is. Vent away!

thanks sooo much for this! its just what i needed to hear.
i know it wont ALWAYS be like this (me in a foggy place : )
it just seems when i compare myself to most recovery stories here i seem so off. you know?!

i do have a question how soft do they really get? i know its only been a month for me but i worry that they wont get any softer than they are now (which in my opinion cld use a little more)
perhaps i should be a little more specific. yesterday was my FIRST time wearing a dress that showed off "the girls" a tad.....i felt WONDERFUL & EXCITED!!! but when i put on a tank top underneath they seem firm and kinda unmovable but no one would know the differ bc when theyre slightly together they look normal. but i know its difficult to get them there-as in the center. takes LOTS of prodding! lol.

wonder if i should make this a post by itself "how soft did yours get?" or something like that.

would love to hear ANY testimonies.
thanks again ladies. youre all the BEST.
slowly softening...but getting there nonetheless = )
