Hello Girls,
I am almost one month post - op and feel great! I worked out lightly for the first time last night - did the sitting recumbent bike for 40 min (260 cals!) felt good - and did some ab work, and leg weight training. I could tel I was pretty sore after that so I may have over done it or my body wasn't used to it since before the surgery - so I am still glad that I started that back up - I got the okay to do regular work outs after 5 weeks post op!

I am able to sleep on my side finally! I still use many pillows and strategically prop myself all over the place - my poor hubby gets lost in the sea of pillows and blankets - he asks me "are you in there" ha!

I told two of my close girl friends - one was more supportive than the other, oh well. Other than that, I never showed my girls off before so now when I wear revealing tops or cute dresses - people just compliment me and say "you look great" which is what I was hoping for! It's so personal and really no one's business why you do it, but anyone who knows me intimantly knows that I have struggled a long time with my uneven breasts - now they are looking even and great!

a BIG thank you to all the women out here who have contributed to this board and given encouragment - it is so great that we can share our stories/concerns during this monumentous event!

So glad to hear you are doing so great!! I, too, have struggled a long time with my breasts. They were deformed and I hated them!! I am so happy now. I am only 8 days out but I can not wait to buy lingerie and sexy bras!!! That's great that you are able to work out again! I can't wait for my ps to give me the go ahead! I miss not being able to get up and go running or whatever.

It's great to hear that everything is going well for you! It must feel good to get back to the gym. And now you have that extra inspiration to keep in shape!!
