I am almost 3 month post op and massaging still hurts. I honestly haven't been massaging EVERY day but I try... it hurts mainly around the internal nipple area. Maybe something to do with my aerola incision too. When did massaging start to get painless for you ladies??

I don't hurts when massage, But I still hurts when I wear bra all day. I'm 7weeks post op. by the way you looks so natural.

mine doesn't hurt anymore. I don't remember when it stopped.....maybe a week or so ago.

They stopped hurting around week three. I also have an areola incision but it doesn't bother me when I massage. My areola's still feel numb. The only time it feels weird if I massage when I laying down. I have to be sitting up to massage. I hope it stops hurting for you soon!!!!!!

My aerola still feels numb too. Hate that. My bf hates it too! lol

Mine's stopped hurting after 3 weeks.. Sometimes if I sleep on my stomach it'll hurt but it goes away.. Massaging doesn't hurt unless I push down which is what my PS wants me to do now.. He wants the skin on the bottom to stretch more and that's a little painful

Massage didn't really hurt but my nipples were very sore for a long time....just now getting over that at 10 weeks.

I hardly ever massage...When I do it's painful in certain swings or if I'm doing it rough...Maybe it's because we rarely massage? I thought I was alone on this.

I'm a little over a month since I've had my BA. Not really sore anymore when I massage, just tight when I start initially. But from what I've been reading everyone is different. Did you ask your PS about it?

By the way, i think you look great!

Hmmm....I have been massaging since 24hrs post op and it hasn't hurt once! It actually feels really really really good and loosens the girls up!

Hey girl, I think massaging stopped being uncomfortable after my first week and even then it never really hurt, it was just sore for the first minute or two then it started feeling good....
BTW, the area right around my nipples are still numb too. It's so annoying.
