Will the cones ever go away? Overs...

I am just over two weeks post-op and my cones (er um boobs) are making me crazy. I got 421 CCs silicone over the muscle, and they have been cone shaped since the operation. I am seriously making myself nuts looking at them and wondering if they will ever be round! I am also worried about my scar/crease. My scar on the left is still visible (PS said he had to recruit some skin on that side due to symmetry issues) and right is now hidden. Will these issues go away? Someone hug me...

Awwww, here's some hugs for you hon. I can't be much help for you otherwise though cuz I'm havin some issues of my own! LOL I'm only 11 days out but I am willing to bet that soon enough your boobies will be beautiful and just how you want them....Nice and Round!!

Hey hun, dont worry about it for now...really...its too early...try to focus on your healing and recovery...they will be changing...I already see mine are changing the shape...I dont know if I like it lol) but I can tell you that the final resuts are still far away...patience is the key!

hey babe it's goign to be okay!! I am about 3 weeks post op, (I have overs as well and 420 CC's too, though mine are saline.) and JUST RECENTLY have I noticed my breasts to take on a more natural shape and slope. Actually only my left one looks natural, my righty is still a little higher and different looking, more cone-ish persay. You're still healing but believe me I'm sure there is a difference everyday.

My suggestion for when you start feeling down is to take a picture of your breasts everyday.. and then next week review the pictures and you will notice the healing and changing taking place!!! (HUGS!!!) ;-)

and yes, you'll get better soon and those boobies will be looking and feeling great. the older they get, the better they'll be

mine too as silicone overs and at the beginning they were looking like ..... well like newbie bewbies, but by time they just got better.
take pics every day otherwise you will not see the progress - and yes they are making progress!

Yes, the cone look definitely goes...I think by month 1 they had gone, were still swollen but turned round and swollen, after that, months down the line, they turned natural looking

I'm a bit over 3 weeks out and now they're starting to look more like boobs than cones from the side. I was freaked the first week because they were anything but boob-like lol. But with time things just get better and better!!

Thank you ladies! You are making me feel so much better! I swear every day I have a new worry! I know they are changing though because I am finally having some good image days if that makes sense. Days where I can see the light at the end of the tunnel and I am thrilled to be here. Other days (or even moments) I am completely losing my mind with worry. No matter how many times I read the responses to similar questions I feel like my case is different. I hope that makes sense. I have this paranoia that I am worse off or that I will be the one who does not see the changes - ever! I think many of us must feel that way since I see this type question posted so often - but darn it, it's harder when it's you! LOL!

I'm only 4 days post-op, silicone overs, and same PS!! He also lowered the left crease to make more symmetric. The "cones" are still there, and I look like I have boob all the way up to my collar bone. It's a great comfort to me to see a similar case as mine on this web site, so thanks so much for posting. BTW - when can I shed this bullet-proof vest thingy??

LMAO!!!! Wow - a boobie sister! As you can see by my avatar the cones do go away! Around 5 weeks mine started to look normal, and now 7 weeks out I love them! Lefty is still being a bit slow on the uptake, but starting to catch up. My crease there is finally normalizing and my scarring is fading rapidly. About two weeks out you will wonder what the heck you did to yourself, but that does fade - I promise. My biggest changes were between 3 and 5 weeks. Now the changes are much further in between but almost overnight when they occur. For instance late in week 5 I saw the beloved scoop - where I started gaining fullness below the nipple. My righty is gorgeous, and lefty is a beaut - but just outshown by righty at the moment!

The dreaded bra - I finally begged Deb to let me out of the thing at week 2 and she OK'd it as long as I got a good supportive sports bra. I got some great ones out at concord mills in the hanes store. I will give you more details when you get there!

BTW - I am curious if they told you about this place because I really bragged on it at my one month post-op and told them to send everyone here.

The cone thing scares me a lot especially because I have very little lower fullness at the moment and the distance from my nipple to my crease is very small. I wonder if this makes the chance of it occuring worse or better Either way its great to know that it fades in time Your boobs look great now Nuby
