13 days post op questions...
Hi all.
I have a couple questions and I was hoping someone could share their thoughts or experiences with me. I am 13 days post op. I go to see my PS tonight. I had a full lift with augmentation. Unders. 420 cc in the left and 435 in the right. Saline. Other than soreness in my back and neck and applying nitro past to my nipples (which causes a headache one hour after applying) it has been pretty smooth so far. Can anyone tell me what to expect this evening? I still have my stiches. I am hoping they will be removed this evening. I was told my PS likes to wait a full two weeks before removing them. I am a stomach/side sleeper so sleeping on my back has been very difficult. I have been using a heating pad. It helps. The sides of my breast seem really full. My husband teases me telling me I look like a line backer. Is it normal for them to be so full on the sides post operatively and do they go down a little? Not sure if they are swollen or just too big. I am a full D soft DD. Any advice anyone can share is so appreciated! Thanks. |

Unfortunately I cant give you advice on what to expect because I dont have mine til tomorrow, but I'm sure you are still swollen and thats why you appear so large. The advice I've heard so far is that it takes awhile for the swelling to go down and then for you to "drop & fluff" to get the final look and size. Hang in there! I hope someone with more knowledge will reply to you.

i have disolvable stitches so my surgeon just cut off the external lines, almost like clear fishing wire, and then told me to start getting used to the gentle massaging, more as your body heals. thats was at my post op, which was 10 days just cause of my work schedule.
