Running....

Hi Ladies,
I have not posted in a while and I guess that is b/c I have been feeling great and not worried about anything.

One question...I was at the gym the other day doing a fitness evaluation and he had me run on the treadmill for 5 min...It feels weird...especially my left boob...like I can feel my implant moving around when I am running..is this normal?

Sleigh

Sleigh,

After reading the stories on this forum, I spent $$'s on a VERY Supportive sports bra. I wear this sports bra underneath my gym shirt which also has a light support bra built in. At 30 days I was able to run 12 miles, no problem.

Did you have WAR ARMOUR/SUPPORT bra on when you ran?? lol

Sounds normal to me. I wear a high impact bra and a shelf bra yoga top over it each time I run. Although they aren't "Flopping" around per say...they feel a little weird when I initially start running..like they are moving. It's probably the friction that is doing this. It gets better with time..I don't notice this weird feeling as much anymore. Good Luck!

I think that sounds normal too. I would get myself fit for a good sports bra. I wear 2 bra's when doing cardio. I don't want to ruin my investments!

it seems like this complaint is very normal from post op girls. the best thing i've read is support, support s everything. as always though if you feel super anxious, don't hesitate to ask your ps.

I am still scared...I only ran when doing a fitness evaluation at the gym b/c I am just going back to the gym now...
I am going out to get back to school clothes tomorrow (ha ha...I'm a teacher) and I am going to invest more in my boobies at Lululemon I think...they have amazing bras!

Thanks!

I ran 12 miles on day 30 // and 1 hr of elliptical per day since day 7 // Full load weight training since day 7 // (light weight training and power walk since day 3).

BUT... I got 'Overs' specifically because I did not want to wait to get back to the gym. I was not afraid at all. I was relieved
