Exclamation Bruised from massage??

Has anyone ever bruised their new breasts when massaging?

I massaged (the way instructed by my ps) but a bit more aggressively a few days ago due to my frustration with them still not dropping fully. One is sore and is bruised. I was not THAT rough with them but they had started to feel very tight and hard and it did hurt to massage BUT AGAIN was the way the ps told me to. I had not been massage very much before--just lightly and for a couple minutes. I massaged for a good 15 minutes.

Bruising normal or did I do something wrong?????

Lennie.. I TOTALLY had brusing from my massaging.. not really bad.. but you could see the imprint where my fingers went.. hahaha. I think it is probably because of the trauma the breast went through, that they show up easier.. but I did have my PS look at them at my next Post-Op, just to be safe.. but they came and faded just as fast..

I think it's normal. My lefty would not drop and I was advised to massage roughly to help push the boob into place and I massaged to much and so hard I got bruises. The bruises weren't always very visible but my boob felt extremely bruised.

I bruised myself too! I had zero bruising from the surgery but when I started massaging at 5 days post op I bruised myself on the side of my lefty and it still hasn't gone away! My PS saw it and didn't seem too concerned.
