Is it only certain PS's that prescribe antibiotics before teeth cleanings? It seems like everytime I got to the dentist I have work that needs to get done so I am a little nervous that I should be taking antibiotics prior to those procedures?

I mentioned to my PS that I needed to go to the dentist and I had heard that it was a good idea to get antibiotics for women with BA. He said the jury was out on whether it was really needed, but he didn't see the harm in taking it, especially since the jury was out.

He wrote me a script for antibiotics for when I go. I need to go soon, because I think I have a cavity!!
