Hey there, I think your boyfriend is on to something. I don't have a medical background but it does sound possible that the pocket could have closed up at 4 months. I am going through something similar and can't get any answers from my PS. I did not have an accident but my right breast has not dropped and it has been 7 months since my surgery! He told me to keep waiting until 1 year, but didn't offer any other advice. Like you I am very athletic - 130lbs and mostly muscle. Do you think because your chest was so muscular before the surgery, that it is having a hard time dropping? I see you are getting a redo - did they tell you exactly what was wrong?

I am happy for you that you are getting a re-do and agree with Breethatsme, great that you are going bigger with the re-do because that's what you have wanted since the surgery. I would definitelly go with the 400's!!

Well, the PS said my chest was tight to begin with. I don't think it helped any that I wakeboarded for two days up to the surgery and my chest was in pain/sore before the breast augmentation even happened.

No, my PS pretty much said, when I had the accident, both breasts had dropped but then the accident injuried my pec muscle in some way, which forced the implant to become 'high' again. I'm not sure if while it was high, scar tissue was starting to develop in the pocket, underneath my boob. My boob never really went back down, it stayed high. And the PS said scar tissue developed and I would need capsulatomy to clear out the scar tissue so that the implant 'could' drop now.

I have to say in the past 2 weeks, I have noticed that my right may have dropped a tad bit, but it's nothing really noticeable. My right implant and natural breast tissue are not 'together' like my left. So you can tell the implant is still high and hasn't fallen into the pocket. When you look to the side, you can tell something is still serious wrong, compared to the left. Even in tops, my right pokes out all the time and it's embarassing. But, I'm wondering now if there is a possiblity that my right could drop, but PS said no. So, I'm going to have to believe PS. He said only way to fix the high implant is to remove scar tissue and let it drop.

I'm eager to fix my problem and just hope that when I get my new set, my right doesn't want to go high!! I have gone through the stages of waiting, hoping and then scaried to go bigger, but now I know my PS will pick a size that best compliments my body and my body allows. So , I'm still thinking anywhere from 350-425 or 450 would be okay, but PS will decide when it's operating time! And no wakeboarding for me till at least 5 month mark and then I won't try the wakeboarding trick that got me in this bind!!!

good luck!

I just posted a 5 month mark picture in my album. You can tell the difference from 2 months to 5 months.
