ust a quick question. Had my BA on Tuesday and feeling great . I am going to a wedding this evening and was wondering if I could have one glass of champagne? I am no longer taking any pain meds. Would call my own PA but it is a Saturday and do not want to bother him for a non emergency question. Does anyone think that it be okay? Thanks so much

Well alcohol thins the blood... and technically alcohol is poison.. personally I wouldn't do it as it would probably slow down your recovery. I doubt one glass would make that big of a difference though *shrugs*

i asked my ps right after surgery. he said one or 2 drinks are fine, but to not over do it. i enjoyed my self a nice cold one the next day, and the one after... lol. i was fine

I drank four days after. I had overs and not a lot of swelling. I didn't have a lot.. just some vodka/sodas. Was off of pain pills.

I am healing great. I have been taking it easy on the drinking, except for last night.

I had a drink shortly after leaving the OR...........bad I know but hey I was celebrating!

BA date: oct 2. 2008 pre ba: deflated 36 b (I thought). post ba: 32 F. cohesive gel/gummy anatomics, under, crease left: 295 cc, mod height, full projection right: 280 cc, mod height, mod projection. 16 days post op!
