Post op went awesome!!!

Yay! I had my post op and my PS said she was amazed that I had hardly any swelling left and didn't get one bruise. I have not a hint of pain left so, I got the green light on normal activity and a normal bra! Wahoo! Back to the gym for light work outs, can get my house back in order, and back to work!

Thanks for all of the love and support ladies! Can't wait until things are back 100% and I don't have alien boobs!

XOXO

Awsome! Good for you! I'm getting so restless just lying around. I know I have to heal, but I'm looking forward to my normal activities and going to the gym. I'm super bloated too. Did you do any light exercise during your first week like walking or anything?

Hello!!! Congrats on your new additions! I just walked alot after the third day. I know the bloat is MISERABLE, I actually still have quite a bit of it. THe worst is the bathroom thing, I was so constipated! But I took some laxatives and went off my pain meds and muscle relaxers and within about 24 hours I was a ton better. Its slowly creeping off since then.

Thanks everyone! I really think it was just the prep before the surgery. When I was in nursing school I learned a lot about how people's bodies recovered. Since working at the hospital I noticed that people that were in really good physical condition and ate well, took care of themselves before having any procedure, recovered in no time. So I really spent the last two months doubling my workout and really trying to eat healthy and cut out foods that are not conducive with healing and growing muscle.

I lost a good bit of weight a year ago and have continued to work out uber hard everyday with cardio and weights and always focused and having a tough core. Really balanced diet, lots of fiber and protien and tons of raw foods. I think this has everything to do with it. And to be honest I can't remember the last time I was sick.

My PS agreed that what you do before the surgery and your body's ability to heal is ten times more important than the recovery.

I honestly think going off the meds was huge too. As soon as it was bareable, I stopped taking them. They really slow your body down. Also the arnica. I think I owe most of my easy recovery to that.

Thanks for all of the encouragement! I bought my first soft bra tonight and even though I fill it funny it feels good. Love you ladies!!! XOXO

Oh, not to mention even though I got the biggest implant I could fit in my body, it wasn't that big. It was a 325 mod+ under the muscle. I know a lot of the ladies on here require more time because they have much more volume for their muscle to get used to.
