Scar tissue removed

Anyone go in for a re-do and have scar tissue removed from one or two breasts? Is recovery worse?

If you had a re-do, because one of your breasts never dropped, were you scaried that the same thing might happen again? And did it?

Did you breasts drop faster the 2nd time around?

thanks ladies!

Hey girl

I had a pocket revision a few days ago, he cut in medially and sutured the sides. I went from 304 to 339 (really wish I went to 371 but I was afraid I would look too big but looking at them now I know they would have been perfect). Anyway they look soooo much better. The pain hasnt been nearly as bad, my first recovery was awful. I have lots of burning under my armpits, maybe from the sutures but way easier so far. Not sure when I can start working out though, Im assuming the same applies no cardio for a few weeks. How did your ps determine that you had too much scar tissue?

not sure how he knows...but I trust him.
I'm nervous about size now too, I'm hoping anywhere from 350-400 for me. So, 30 something cc's made a good difference with you? Are you just more fuller or actual cup size different?

have a happy recovery! I can tell a major difference. yOu look great!

Hey SexyWS6Mama! I have been following your ordeal. I'm sorry you've had to go through this! I had a capsulectomy, which is the removal of the scar capsule (well, as much as they can get) around the implant. It was on one side. I never had an issue of dropping the first time around, most likely because of how he placed them and my loose tissue from breastfeeding, so I can't answer that part. However, the recovery was easier because the pocket was already there. The difference after the scar tissue was removed was like night and day. Went from high up to normal location. Once again, I didn't have to contend with the dropping process too much. They just dropped a little over the first few weeks. HTH and hoping someone else can answer your question! Oh...and my 50 cc's difference is noticeable to me, and I went mod plus profile this time, which I'm so so happy with. Wishing you good things this time around.

Red face

I originally had smooth gummy overs, and to cut a long story short, had four capsulectomies, and now I have gone to under the muscle. The capsulectomies were a walk in the park compared to this op. It's more discomfort than pain. Within about five days of my capsulectomies, I was sleeping on my side, and within three weeks on my stomach. Much easier than the original BA. All I can say, is keep positive and everything will work out in the end. The op I just had was to remove textured overs to textured unders. Textured capsulectomies are alot more difficult because they do sometimes have to remove more tissue as it adheres to the implant, so again, the smooth capsulectomies were the best and most painless recovery of all.

Good luck!

I hope he can get all the scar tissue removed and it would be great if dropping happened even quicker this time!!!

thanks!!!

great information. Thanks!! Yes, currently I have silicone unders and they will be removing those and replacing with a bigger implant. I wonder if they remove the original implants first, then the scar tissue or vice versa.

I have no clue how many more cc's I'm getting. I go in for my Pre-op on Dec. 2nd and we'll discuss it then. Again, I would like a C cup (so 50-100 cc's might work). I'm a full B now.

Hopefully having a redo for size won't hurt as much as your original BA. It's the pain under the arms that is killing me! good luck x
