Had a pocket revision done on 11/12, after my first BA I was instructed to start massaging after one week. Was anyone instructed to massage with internal sutures? I have new implants in so I do want to massage, just not sure when I should start?

Hi gorgeous! I just saw this post and my PS told me to start when I wasn't tender, so I started lightly about 7 days out and now can be pretty aggressive. My left is still much more tender than my right but move those girls as much as you can!!!

Hi Colsie. I would definitely ask your PS on that one. I started massaging on the one that had the capsulectomy after week one of my redo, but I waited longer to start massage on the one that had internal sutures and a lift. It was probably because of the lift and not the internal sutures, but I never really asked.

Probably best to check with your PS before you start any massage. It might be different with your re-do that with the original BA. You wouldn't want to chance messing with your new pockets!

I have internal sutures and was told that I couldn't start massaging for 2 weeks.

What did your PS say? My PS told me i didnt need to do ANY massaging period because i had pockets from my original BA. Should I be afraid? I had mine done the same day as you 11/12.

He said two weeks, Im wondering why your ps said you didnt have to massage becasue you already had pockets? Isnt massaging to keep the pocket open and the implants soft and prevent scar tissue build up?
