Hey guys,

I had my BA on September 19th and started massaging about 3 weeks after that. However about 2 weeks ago my left breast makes popping sound, kinda like when you crack your knuckles (Sorry that is the best way I can describe it_LOL!)

Has anyone else had this or know what it is?? I am starting to get worried!

My guess is the sound you're hearing is probably air that has formed in your pocket. My PS said I could hear sloshing, popping, and other strange noises and that it would most likely be air. I am in my 7th week post op and I never had any of those sounds. On my surgery day, in recovery, the nurse who was taking care of me felt each breast and massaged/pressed on them thoroughly to get rid of any air pockets. I think this might have helped to keep them from forming for me.

But, if you are at all worried, the best thing to do is call your PS. They will be able to clear it all up for you. GOOD LUCK!!
