Hey ladies,

I had my BA a couple weeks ago on 11/6 and so far everything is going well. My biggest concern is that my nipples are so sore! I think its from wearing my sports bra 24/7. I try to give them a break from lifting my bra above my breasts but it still doesn't help. Does anyone else have this problem and if so, what are you doing to remedy this? :-( Thanks.

Hi there, first congrats! Most of us went through this. I found that (if you don't have incisions there) rubbing gold bond itch cream on them helped a LOT.

I had terrible soreness on my nipples. PS suggested I cover them with soft gauze and cotton.

I am just starting to get feeling back in the righty. The lefty is a no go still. But my sister suggested I put bandaids over the righty and so far that seems to really be helping! Perhaps try that?

Uncomfortably, sensitivity and hardness are par for the course. I used nursing pads placed inside of my bra. Several come in a box so you can wear them and throw them away.

Any soreness of nipples or parts of the breast, I always tuck in a Thermacare heat wrap in my sports bra. Feels a whole lot better!

I think that just part of our recovery my surgery was 10/22 and my right one is still sore, slowly getting better.

I agree my nipples are very sore but mainly its just when I'm moving around. I thought it was my compression bra but was wrong. I'm gonna try some of these suggestions...Thanks Girls!

Our boobies can become hypersensitive as the swelling comes down and the nerves regenerate. I personally like a gel cold pack on the girls when they get a little sore.

Sadly many of us seem to get sore nipples and/or breasts. For me it's like a burning / sunburn sensation that is worse when I have a loose top rubbing on them. I just use plenty of Vit E cream which seems to help a little. Hoping it will pass soon.
