Did u have bruising in crease?
I had a nipple incision, but they put this bra on me that I am supposed to keep on for 2 weeks and it is really tight! I think the bruising may be coming from the bra. Its only in my crease. Its like bloody looking bruises. Is this normal?

hmmm i am NO expert so take this with a grain of salt but sounds like a small hematoma.. could be that your bra is too tight. Mine was, but I was allowed to take it off and wear whatever I wanted after a week. I had crease incision and I have two very light (greenish) bruises) but they're small( about the size of a quarter each - or less). I would definitely call your PS and have him take a look.

I had a very dark bruise in my crease on the left side, close to my cleavage, and at 2 weeks, it is just starting to fade. At my 10 day post op, however, the ps said it wasn't anything he was concerned about. It will probably be fine to wait till you see yours next unless it starts to look worse or isn't getting any better, then I'd call sooner.
If it's fading little by little then you're healing well and it's fine. Hope this helps and good luck. |

I had some bruising on my crease for a few weeks and what looked JUST like a finger print LOL. If you have ever watched a BA surgery, they really "man handle" you at times.
If your worried talk to your doctor for sure. |

I had bruising on my waist even...Go figure? I also had bruising under my armpit, in between my breasts and in my creases. They have all gone away but I am still sore on my waist almost like a deep bruise. I agree they do man handle us in surgery....lol. Hang in there I'm sure it will be fine.

I am 4weeks PO and never had a bruise. My PS did say if my Bra ever felt to tight to put one on that was comfortable. Maybe you should go up a size. Maybe you should call your PS and ask.

Yes, Ebayqueen, I have exactly what you are talking about! My left side is very, very swollen ... & I thought that was all there was to it. However, I took my bra off & noticed that I am terribly bruised there. You described it exactly - dark red, as if it is a pool of blood. It runs from my crease to a few inches below my armpit. It itches & is a bit painful. I also have blueish & yellowish bruises around that area.
I just got off the phone w/ the Nurse & she said it sounds normal, but she's having me come in tomorrow to have it checked just in case. She said that the few patients that have hematomas seem to know it immediately, mostly b/c the pain is really extreme. I hope we both are just experiencing 'normal' bruising & swelling. I would love to hear from other ladies who have had this problem or hematomas. Please keep us posted!
