massaging textured cohesive implants

hi!

i have 380cc textured cohesive implants placed under the muscle.

i found some good advice on here for massaging smooth implants and watched the video that was posted. should i be massaging my implants the same way?

No. You should never massage textured implants unless your surgeon tells you to do so. Textured implants adhere to your tissues. If you massage them and interrupt that process, it defeats the purpose of having textured implants.

I have textured implants as well and my surgeon said not to massage them. Mine are a teardrop shape and was told that if I massaged them, I could accidentally turn them upside down and then they would be in the wrong place.

i got textured and my ps said to massage as much as possible, as well as doing compression. it's all to maintain the pocket and to prevent cc.

My PS also said never to massage because it would affect the implant from adhering to tissue.

You need to check with your surgeon. I have heard of surgeons suggesting massage for textured implants, it is rare though. In general, women with textured are told not to massage.

I have textured implants and was told not necessarily to massage my implants but to move the implant around to test the pockets.

textured, round, unders here & told definitely no massage by my ps as it defeats the purpose of the textured implant that they want to adhere.
