day 3, just lettin u know whats up
Hello all my lovely ladies! i had my ba Tuesday and it is now Friday. Wed an thur I spwnt most of the day cussing myself and wondering why in the heck I had done this to myself!! Well today I am feeling better. I woke up at 10 am after having to pop 3 pain pills and a valium to fall asleep last night. I decided to see how much i could do today before i had to take my meds. I am cooking a roast in the crock pot that my DH started for me, so I decided to peel the potatoes and cut them and add them at noon. Ha ha ha. the peeling was annoying, but the cutting plum hurt. I have realized, yes, I am a P*$$# but do not care!! So I then decided to take a hot bath and soak my muscles. I rolled over in the tub and let my boobs soak! This was absolute heaven. I massaged while in ther because it did not hurt a bit. I stayed in ther til the water started cooling, and then got out. I tried taking pics, but for some reason I cant upload them even after shrinking them. I dunno whats up, oh well!!! At 1, i decided to take 1 1/2 pain pills and am feeling pretty good now. They are still sitting pretty high, and my ps seemed pretty suprised the other day when he saw them,. kinda made me a little nervous, but after seeing everyone elses, i thought they were pretty normal. I have been massaging alot. i hope there is no such thing as over massaging, because i am doing it if there is!!! but i am not cusing myself today and regretting anything. i am glad that he chose this size and did not go any bigger, because i dont think i could handle them any bigger. they are sooo tight. i am trying to find some lotion in this retchid house so i can massage with it, but have obviously hidden it from myself! lol. im trying to take it easy and i think that with each day that comes, its gettin easier. i know my post op story i posted was kinda negative, but it was the truth as to how i was feeling. i kinda read stories on here about the people who had perfect recoveries and figured mine would be like that, and never thought that i would be one of the ones in pain. that was my stupidity for thinking in those terms. i gave birth to two kids, the 2nd being almost 10 pounds, and i made it through that like cake, but i was not expecting this to be anything but flawless. i have learned my lesson, and want people to realize that if you go through this with no pain, your lucky, but if you do have pain after ward, its ok. i have realized that its ok to be in discomfort. today is better than yesterday, and im sure tomorrow will be even better than today. to anyone reading this and who has not had thier ba yet, it may be painful the first few days, but its worth it in the end. keep your eye on the prize, and dont go in it thinking you are invisible to pain. expect it, but be thankful if it does not happen to you. just some advice i wish i had listened to before hand.!!! it gets better!!!!

I am so glad you are up and about! I have been thinking of you and wondering how you were doing! I totally understand about the pain. I most certainly did not have a pain free recovery. Today has been better for me as well. Alothough I am suffering from the side effects of pain meds. I hope you get those pic's posted soon so we all can take a little peak! Take care and enjoy your roast tonight!!

Personally, I dont think I could go through it again. I gave my PS strict instructions to make sure that I will be happy with mine even 10 years from now. My mouth drops when I see those of you who are having their 2nd or 3rd BA... you all are troopers for sure! I understand the tone of your post, I was not very amused with myself for at least a week post op. My areolas still freaking hurt.... PRIZE PRIZE PRIZE PRIZE
