I'm 11 days post op and feel that my boobs are closing in on eachother. Should I get a thong bra to avoid symmastia and if so where do I get one?

you should contact your ps and let them know you have concerns. Follow your dr's advice... You trusted him/her this far...

I have never heard of a thong bra.I think I would call my doctor too. You don't want to hurt anything now...good luck! Keep me posted.

I do agree to call your ps, but I also heard what you are talking about. On another site I heard about buying a sports bra and turning it around backwards and wearing it like that to keep them separated while healing. It happens when (I think) the doctor over dissects the pockets that the implants go into (uniboob, search google --- uniboob backward sports bra-- it will take you right to where the thong bra link is!!) Hope this helps, because unless your ps is nice, it would probably cost more money to fix that problem and if you are broke like me you are kinda screwed, so I didn't want to just say "call your ps." Wanted to try to give some advice in case you can't really do anything. I've got some issues going on but it's just too bad for the money!

So I found www.thongbra.com which according to them is the only place that sells thongbras.. And they cost $140!! Think I'll just call my PS so that I don't just buy a really expensive bra w/o really needing it...

I have a thong bra. I didn't not buy it from that site because $140 is way too expensive. Its not that special to be charging people $140 =X. I got another one that works perfectly fine for $60. I forgot what it was called exactly but its something with a V. Like veronique or something. Google symmastia bra and you should be able to find it.

I am wearing a "thong bra" for different reasons but this one might help you... I got it in Target by Champion Style N9031 was $ 14.99 a razor back sports bra and I"m wearing it backwards,, advice from a friend here in the forum... plus I'm wearing a underwire sports bra over the Thong bra.
