Massaging with internal sutures?

My first BA I was told to massage after the first week, this time I have sutures on the insides of the lateral pockets not to mention the crease where he put the implants. Anyone massage with internal sutures (I had a pocket revision). Thanks

this is a very good question.. i just had my symmastia repair on nov 12 and i am scared to even touch mine to much..lol.. i am in this thong bra 24/7 until i shower daily and then i feel i need to hurry up and put it right back on. i will be sure to check back to this thread to see what others say!! i hope u are feeling well and congrats on your pocket revision!! i am not an elite member so i havent seen ur pics but i bet u look awesome!!!!

I just had my revision (for several complications including symmastia, over 2 weeks ago). I went for my 2 week post-op the other day and my PS showed my how to massage. It's only one movement of an upward push. My PS pushed them high enough for me to definitely feel like it's moving (not just some light push). He said not to go any other direction as this would cause the internal sutures that I have to break (I have double suturing on bottom and sides of breasts). His nurse said to hold this for 5 seconds, 10 reps twice a day. What did your PS say?

Dec2008, how have you been? I've been meaning to follow-up with you. By the way, my PS did not have me wearing the thong bra until my 2 week post-op because of the thin skin and tissue that bruised heavily, he did not want to put any more pressure on the bruising.
