I put a call into my PS, but it Saturday so i may be waiting awhile for him to call me back. I was hoping one of you lovely ladies could help in the mean time..TIA

I had to get out of bed and move because thats all I have been doing is laying in bed, some activity, but not a lot,,

I just feel so swollen, and my arms fee pretty week.

I finally took a pain pill and that seems to help a lot...

IS day 3 just rough??? (I think I read on here somewhere that day 3 is the worst)

Awe sweetie, I hate to break it to ya, but YES day three was the worst for me. Day four sucked pretty bad too. After that it was all downhill. Good luck! Keep up on your pain meds and muscle relaxers. Let someone help you!

I am on day four and still very sore.Yesterday I was feeling little better but woke up in the middle of the night because of the pain.I noticed I am in more pain if I am not moving and just lying down.I hope you feel better soon.GL

Yes, Yes, and again I say YES!! OMG! Day 3 was brutal for me. I cried and cried and was feeling so sore and the tightness was unbearable. I am just over 1 week post-op now and I am JUST starting to feel human again. There is still tightness and I am swollen some but nothing compared to Day 3. Hang in there and in about a week or so you will find some relief even if it's just a little

Omigod, yes it is normal

I feel your pain. Take you meds relax and things will pass. That is what I have to keep reminding myself.

Poor poor darling!! Days 3-5 were absolutely the worst for me! You don't sound unusual at all. Unfortunately, it's hard to know how bad it will be until you experience it because everyone is so different. The good news is that once you make it through this bit, things start improving every day.

Take your pain meds and REST. Let someone help you whenever possible.
Imagine how beautiful your new boobies will be in just a little bit. It'll all be over soon and it is sooo worth it!

Day 3...I had a hard time getting out of bed. It took about ten minutes. I would grab the blankets around my feet, pull my body to them, then would have to let go (the pain in my chest.). I'd keep pulling up until I finally got up. I walked around really slow like an old lady or something. I think on day 3 the local anesthetic must have worn off completely or something (I got twilight and they gave local anesthetic) though it's supposed to wear off in hours. That or I was becoming immune to the pain meds. I do remember Day 3 being bad.

all the ladies have said it is the worst. for me it wasn't that bad. i actually went to work a half-day that day! i felt like crap from not resting that well and the pain meds and muscle relaxers, but in general i wasn't in that much pain. apparently i am the exception to the rule though!!

hang in there, lovely. keep icing and try to keep up with your meds. you'll get through it! and congrats!

Hi sweetheart! I had my BA on the 20th as well and pretty much feel the same as you. I actually seem to feel better when i'm either sitting up, or standing and walking around. I woke up in the middle of the night and took a pain pill. I was feeling better yesterday and I'm hoping as the day goes by I will feel better again. I'll definitely add you to my contacts in case you'd like to compare progress. Best of luck to the both of us!!!

Day 1-7 for me was pure H*ll! But day 8 I woke up feeling MUCh better..although I am quite sore and swollen yet, I feel somewhat alive now!

It does get better!

yessir, day 3 was the worst for me probably. thats when i got sick, fever, it was an icky icky day! just keep ur chin up it will be getting better more and more everyday now

Today is day 3 for me and I'm feeling really well. I think if you can get up and move around a bit it helps a lot. Everyone has a different expereince of course. Just do as much as you can comfortabley and don't be hero - take the pain meds if you need them!

Yes, yes! Day 3 was bad! Let's just say the first week is the roughest but towards the end of the first week, there were great improvements. All I could do was pray I get thru the day without too much wincing in pain and popping in my pain killers. Make sure you eat well and take all your meds on time! REST UP! It's all you can do for now.

Day 3 was actually the worst for me, both mentally and physically. It wasn't so much the pain as just generally feeling exhausted...
