Hi there Gals,

I had my BA on Friday the 21st. I am feeling okay, pain is definitely treatable so far. But I have an incredible amount of swelling under my left armpit. My skin is almost bulging over my bra, it is so swollen! My right side is not doing this. My Surgery Center just called to check on me & I told them about the swollen left side. She said she wasn't sure if that was normal or not, so I now have a call in to my Dr. to check on this. So, I am waiting to hear from them. Has anybody else had this happen & if so, what were your results?

Also, since my surgery was on Friday, would that make today, Monday be day 4 or day 3? I am unsure if the surgery day actually counts.

Any advice would be helpful! Thanks so much, Gals.

I had a LOT Of swelling under my arms..but I was allowed to use ice which helped greatly! I'd say day 3 for you

Thanks for letting me know I'm not the only one. My Dr. said for me to NOT ice under any circumstances, so I am unable - I sure do want to, though! I know every Dr. has different rules. it makes it so confusing.

yup, my armpits are the most painful areas for me by far. like MFIginger I ice there and it seems to help
