What Will Day 10/11 Be Like?
So my BA is scheduled for December 19th. My 21st birthday is December 30. My mom wants to take me up to a casino for my birthday but I was wondering how everyone felt around day 10 or 11. Will I still be on meds? (aka will I be able to drink?)
Just wondering what everyone else's experiences were. I'm getting saline unders btw. |

I take Tylenol at bedtime and did take some a bit ago but only because i was running errands! You should be ok but everyone recovers differently!

Honestly after day 7 things were much better for me. Not tired, I was able to wash my own hair, put on some over the head shirts, etc. I'd still suggest taking it easy, I'm on day 11 right now and I'm still feeling tight and bolt-on-ish, so I'm still icing a lot and taking it easy, but I think if you were to go out and have a drink or two for a couple hours you'd be ok. Just listen to your body, rest when it wants to rest!

Im currently on day 13 and i have been advised by my PS NOT to drink at all until the 14 day or long. He said that i can make the healing process take longer. But i must say that after day 7 i was feeling much better and every day after that only gets better too. Im still on my meds just when the pain gets really bad other than that no one i work with (only my boss) know that i have had a BA. hehe Well good luck and Have a Happy Birthday!!

I was really pain free and well and truly off meds by day 7. After that it was just that burning sensation that everyone seems to talk about. Everyone is different. Hope your celebrations go well.

I was still a little stiff at that point, but I was well off pain meds. I wouldn't think a little celebratory drink would hurt too badly! Just take it easy and you should be OK. Have fun!
