Question Squeaky air sounds?

I'll be 4 weeks post op tomorrow. Had BA 11/4/08. Mentor Smooth MPP Silicone implants 700cc inframammory (crease). In between my 2 and 3rd week post op. I would notice when I massaged them or bent over to pick something up, a squeaky sound. I called my PS, who's nurse told me this was "air" I was hearing and not the implants and if I continue to massage them and stretch out the breast pockets, that the implants would settle and this should go away.

Anyone else hear of this or experience it? If so, how long does it last?

I was a 36D naturally with some sag from two previous back to back surgeries. I went bigger in hopes of not having to get a lift yet. I'm satisfied with my results. Although I'm HUGE! lol. Just not sure about those noises.

YES! My leftie only is doing this and is kind of freaking me out. Every time I push on it, it makes a "squeaky" sound. I'm only 12 days post-op and was worried that something is wrong. I would be glad to hear what other people say about this-

oh i was definitely experiencing this the first week or so. it didn't last any longer than that, but i was already massaging on day 1, so perhaps that helped?

it sounded weird, but FELT even weirder! it was almost a sickening feeling! it should go away, but i have heard of some women who continue to experience this for a long time.

Yes, a similar sound, but only on the right one, though. It seems I heard it from the moment I woke up (post-op), any time I moved drastically, for about the first 3 weeks. Then it went away. I've also heard this is air, but I'm not sure. Google it maybe.

THANK YOU for posting this because I've been dying to come home all day just so I could start this thread. This started happening to me yesterday and it's freaking me the hell out! Like Reina said, it FEELS weirder than it sounds. Everytime I bend over in a certain direction, it's almost like I feel the air around them moving and that's when it happens. SO strange! I can't wait for it to go away!!

Ew, I had that too! In my cleavage area, and at the top of my right boob by my armpit. It totally grossed me out, but my ps said oh it's totally normal, it's just air! It will go away on its own, said it could take around a month but it went away just a week and a half after surgery! No worries

I had the air-bubble gurgling during the first week, and at about a month out I had the squeeks on the rightie only, that lasted a couple weeks, but eventually it stopped. It sounded like a squeeky windshield wiper to me

bebby will become famous soon enough
Your PS is right and with the massaging goes pretty quickly, (although I stroked, not massaged)...
1 of mine blubbered a week longer
(lasted 2 weeks? I think) than the other
(although it was always the difficult boobie anyway) its only loud to you though!
Congrats on your 700´s and I am sure they look fabulous.....

Talking

Thank you to all who so graciously assured me that I'm not a freak! LOL. One of my good friends is having BA this Friday 12-5-08 and I'm definitely going to pay it forward with this advise.

I had the squeaks also and queried my PS about it. He explained it this way... in order to get the implants through as small an incision as possible, they use a sterilised lubricant. Some of this sits around the implant along with air etc. Together it all squishes around and can make a squeaky / slurpy sound. After a while it will be absorbed and the sounds go away. Seems plausible at least ...

Mine went away after a few weeks.
