I am 3 weeks out as of tomorrow. I woke up to a bit of blood on my steri strip and some on my sports bra. It didn't even bleed through both layers of the bra- but it freaked me out and I was wondering if any of you ladies had any bleeding this far out. Just a bit of blood- but still unnerving.
PS nurse said it could have been a scab that broke.
Both boobs look healthy- no discoloration etc...

I would just keep an eye on it but not worry too much about it. 3 weeks not an uncommonly long amount of time for an incision to not be fully healed yet.
I'm sure you'll be just fine

I had some "bleeding" although it was more like gunky brown stuff at about 4 weeks, and it did just happen to be scabbies that were coming off and bleeding just a tad bit under them, so no worries, i'm sure everything is fine!

I had bleeding from my incision around week 3. Mine wasnt old blood, it was very new. I was washing in the bathtub and all of a sudden I look down and blood is pouring from my incision. sorry if thats tmi..but I was scared to death. I just knew that I broke my boob. but no, my incision just tore a little. never hurt. I never had anymore bleeding after that.

I'm so glad others have had this i'm sitting here waiting for the nurse to call me back as i'm panicking that i have an infection, I'm 3 weeks this thursday and noticed a dark patch (tiny) on my steri strips yesterday so changed them last night and there was ever such a tiny amount of for want of a better word goo, it kinda looked like the beginings of when a scab forms but only one of my breasts is really tender and its this one so want the nurse to say its ok or get some antibiotics just to be safe...I love my new assets so much don't want them to break!!!
