Question Bloated...

So my plastic surgeon did tell me that i would have some bloating in my stomach from the water that he fills the breast cavity with to float the muscle before inserting the implant... But im so used to being so tiny that it is stressing me out that the water weight just won't seem to go away.

Anyone else having this issue?

I feel ya girl! I'm only 3 days post-op and i look 9 months preg. When my sister was taking the pics of my boobs she had to aim higher so people wouldn't think i was pregnant.
Yesterday my stomach felt tighter and more swelled than my boobs. UGH!!
Hopefully someone can help us relieve this problem.

I was bloated like that after my hysterectomy, but it never happened after any of the BAs. I have had some intestinal bloating, but that is going away now that I've (finally) been able to "go", IYKWIM...

For anyone who has had this, is there any way to make it go away faster? Drinking lots of water? Etc? My BA is a week away today, wondering about this symptom. Thanks girls!

My stomach did that too and my plastic surgeon said it can last for a couple of weeks. It's went down a little but not a lot. Same boat I'm so small that it really shows. I also got extra IV solution due to a hold up at the hospital.

I feel ya! I'm 2 weeks out and have just started losing my bloat, which makes it look like I'm losing babyweight! I was looking so preggers there for a while! Luckily it will go down, just give it time. Have regular BMs will help if that's back to normal. and if you can move around, like go on walks to make your body work on releasing the bloat. Just don't do anything too strenuous!

Oh you guys are making me laugh and it kinda hurts a little to laugh! My bloating friend arrived on about maybe 5 days after and is just barely starting to go away (15 days post op). I swear I thought I was pg! I felt like a freaking whale and I drank TANKS full of water. Still am. Sorry to say it didn't help. Has to run it's course and go away on it's own I guess.
