BA yesterday

OK I am over the surgery hump. I went in at 8:30am and didnt leave the hospital until 8:30pm. Even though they put anti-nausa in my IV they still had to give me more later. I got sick in the car and once more at home but it wasnt bad at all.

SO hear you go. He put in 400 in RT and 420 in LF to even me out. He used mod profile instead of HP once he saw how they looked inside me. My DH keeps wondering why he changed his mind. I really dont care but does anyone know why they would do that?

Pain meds, muscle relaxers and ,antibiotic. Surgery was a breeze since I didnt see or feel anything. After in recovery I had pain like a 5 out of range of 10. I felt like a boulder was sitting on my chest. I can reach above my head with minimal amount of discomfort. I can feel squishy stuff every time I move or lift my arms. I presume it the implant and air so it should settle.
I am bruised pretty good on my left side and under my right arm near the incision site. I feel pretty good today but I'm still taking the vicotin so I can keep that constant pain away.

I have to keep on the surgical bra and strap until Tuesday's post op visit but I can shower tomorrow so I'll get to see them then. My skin is so itchy under the bra. Is that normal? I figure it my skin stretching and begining to heal from the trama. What do I know!

They do look big through this bra. I think I made the right choice. NOt only witht he surgeon but with the size and mostly just having it done. I cant wait to show them off.

I'm going to lay down now. I'll will keep everyone posted of my recovery

congratulations. you must be happy it's finally done!

my ps took the decision to put more cc in my implants during the surgery. and he was right. i think most of them knows best. they know what you will look like after and what you want to look like. i would say, trust is judgment.

about the itchy skin, it's normal, mine was itchy for a good week, but i was fine after.

when you'll see him for your post-op, ask him why he changed his mind for mod. profile.

Hooray for you!!! My PS also put in bigger implants than we discussed, but I've gotta tell ya, even now I'm thinking "I should've gone bigger"!!! I think I've heard this referred to as "boobie greed" !!
Good luck on a speedy recovery!!

Well done Kathy!!

Glad to hear you're well. PS's tend to change things like this quite a lot mainly when under sedation because they try different things and obviously cant ask you there and then. Maybe he tried HP and they were too much for your frame.

Def ask him when you see him for your check up, would be good to know what his reasons actually were

Congrats! Glad to hear everything is going so well. Just make sure to keep resting so you will recover quickly.

I don't know about lifting the arms above the head. My ps said I was not allowed to do that.
