Ok, I need you girls to help me out here....

I dont know if Im just finding excuses here but I was wondering.....

How much would you say 680cc's of cogel weighs in lbs?? I mean, come on, its got to weigh a little?? Right?? (300 + 380)

I know xmas & new year has been & gone but I just got on the weighing scales & Im very aware that they are telling me Ive put on a few lbs.

I just wanted a bit of cheering up. I can deal with a couple of xmas pounds but was wondering if any of you gained slightly after your ba??!

Think I need to get my arse into a gym

Oh me. Yes, I thought the holidays would be such a GOOD time for surgery!! Alas, I got on the scales at the dr today...(gulp) 5 pounds!!

Now, I must say that with my original BA I did NOT swell up like I did for my second surgery!! I had about 3 extra pounds at 2 weeks post-op. But with this surgery, I am so bloated from my neck to my knees!!

I'm just hoping being able to get active will melt away this excess. It is distressing to feel flabby. But I still have some activity restrictions....which means I probably should stop eating CHOCOLATE, ya think?!?!

1cc = 1g so, total weight = 1.499 llbs ( i think) if im wrong please dont punish me...i just did the calculations on my mobile !

Hmm, see, I reckon it depends on the chocolate!! If its dark, its not so bad lol

Ah! I understand now!! I didnt know 1cc = 1g. I just did the maths too & got the same as you Anne.

Was kind of living in hope that they would weigh a little more than that tho :/ LOL

Def time to eat less & move more.

hey girls, are you sure about 1cc weighing 1g???

because, it depends on the substance..
I have 350 iin each breast... so 700 in total.. close enough. Silicone too.
My ps told me I probably have an extra pound or so of weight due to implants..
so, maybe it's more??? that would be awesome!!!

although, whether it's 1 pound or 1.5, not much of a difference, huh???
But you know what, whether it's 1 or 1.5, I can still tell I'm at least 5 pounds above my "ideal/normal" weight since ba (ok, more ideal than normal, but heck!!!)

i can sympathize, i put on quite a bit of weight since my ba..

i think in my case it was just an excuse to not exercice, eat less healthy, holidays.. all in all.. 6 pounds more!!!!
the good news is I just got a new membership at the gym and have been pretty good up to now!! no weight loss yet, but definelty more tonned

for how much your boobies weigh. I know how
you feel! I weigh a good 6 pds of boobs. It's
all in the boobies my dear! Don't give up the
chocolate!!

They weigh a few pounds. But I think that most women gain weight after a BA...maybe a combination of laying around during recovery and thinking, "I'm sexy now with my giant boobies- a few pounds won't change that!" LOL! I know I have gained like 10 pounds since my BA...and that's a lot when you're only 100 to start out with!

1 cc of water = 1 mL because water's density is just below 1g/mL but adding the salt increases it slightly, so for saline 1 cc is 1 gram. (Can you tell I'm taking chemistry classes?) Silicone is a bit heavier. I'm sure you have more than 1 pound of implants...its probably closer to 5.

Taylor i came up with my calculation only on the basis of doing the rice test ... 1cc = 1g, but thinking about it, we're not testing the weight of the boobs there are we, just how they will look post op....nice to know we have a scientist at hand !

The morning i went into surgery i weighed 127lbs. After i came out i weighed 133lbs. Im 5 days post op now and down to 131lbs. I guess its just a normal process.

I also gained about 10 lbs., but I was expecting this so no biggie. I think I've lost a few since returning to work. Summer's right around the corner so I gotta get ready...especially now that I have perky boobs to show off!
