2 weeks post-op

Hi Ladies,

Well I went to see the PS on Tuesday for my 2 wk po and he says everything looks great. I have to keep massaging them and work harder under my arms to loosen up the incision site. He said that will help witht he sensitivity also. I am having terrible nipple sensitivity and anything that rubs drives me crazy. It's like nursing a newborn baby non stop that very first week. I can only wear camis for another 2 weeks and absolutely no bras for a month. The girls look great. The ps told me I wont drop any further and if I do it will be very small. He said that my nipples are positioned perfectly. So that other ps consult i had wanted to do a lift. Where the heck would my nipples be then in my neck! I made the right choice in PS's.

The funny thing is that my girlfriend that didnt know I was having this done came over yesterday and didnt even notice. So I showed her in just the cami and she still didnt beleive me. She must have been in shock. How the heck couldnt you see the difference from a sm B to a full D. So I whipped off the cami and said can you see the diff now? Then it was like I personally think they are huge on me so I find it so hard to believe you cant tell.

I have been so depressed in this house. It is so darn cold and everyone in the house is sick but me. My time will come I'm sure. All 3 kids and hubby too have been sick since last Thursday. My 9 yr old has 103.2 fever today and so I know I will have it by this weekend. I have so much stuff to do around the house but cant get motivated to do anything.

Ok, sorry, Gotta go check on the kiddies.
Kathy

Glad to hear everything is going so well. Well except everyone being sick. It is this stupid weather. Now we have snow.

Possibly when you cannot wear a cami or bra buy those silicone nipple covers. It will help from the fabric rubbing.

Oh, Kathy I feel your pain... I'm stuck with my girls too! It has been subzero here for a week, and we just finally left the house yesterday, only b/c I had an OB appointment (that they couldnt reschedule til july) and figured it was about time I leave the house for something other than Mass... lol... But it felt great to get dressed and look nice... I even went to Walmart!! Try taking some vitamin c and using that Zycam stuff to keep from getting your kids cold... it has worked for me over and over again!!! I start using it the first day the kids seem to be getting sick, and I may have symptoms for one day, but it almst never sticks.... honsetly, if I'm sick, who will take care of everyone else?!

to hear about the kids being sick. I agree that it is the weather and I don't know about you, but I am getting pretty sick of it!! lol My nipples are also VERY sensitive, but as of yesterday they seem to be doing a little better. I just keep massaging them in hopes that it will all be over soon! lol ~Shelly~

Hi Kathy! Hope your soreness gets better soon Cabin fever is torture, especially when it's nasty outside. I got the cold/flu that's been going around too (just glad I didn't get it right after surgery!). Hopefully you'll build immunity to it with your kiddos having it. I say let's all pack up and go to Florida!
