Sharp pain :o(

Hello everyone,

Well I'm about 9 months post op and almost everything has been going great. My only problem is I get a sharp pain feeling in my left breast. It's always in the same spot. I had the crease incision and is about an inch above the incision site. It comes and goes but it's been happening since I had the surgery. I figured it was just the healing process. But its been nine months and the pain still happens. The last two days has probably been the worst. I moved out of state since i've had my surgery so i can't go see my doctor. I just wanted to ask if anyone else has experience this and for how long. Thanks!

If you are worried you should find a new surgeon or a gynecologist.

I agree with Ivy, find a PS that will see you. Maybe call your PS and ask about the pain, and see if he can refer you to a PS where you are now? I hope everything will be okay for you.

If it is a sharp, short pain it is probably a cut nerve regenerating, which can take some time, and isn't anything to really worry about. Any infection would be more of a hot, burning pain. I think you should go and talk to a doctor about it to be sure though, and ease your mind. Can you call your PS and talk to them on the phone to get their advice? Or go to a GP in your new area and ask them.
