sleeping on my side

I am 10 days post op now. I have tried sleeping on my side but it feels weird. should I be sleeping that way or will it mess up anything?

Good Morning!! My PS told me at my 1 week PO I could sleep however was comfortable to me, including tummy (of course at the time THAT wasn't happening). So, I've been side sleeping ever since. Not sure if this is one of those topics that varies from PS to PS. But, it certainly hasn't effected my "girls" at all! And gives me a MUCH better nights sleep!
good luck!

Did your PS give you any guidelines for when you could sleep on your side? I haven't asked yet. But I actually tried a tiny bit this morning. Not fully on either side but just a little tilt each way. I was hugging the girls when I did it and didn't stay that way for long, but it felt sooooooooo good to off my back. I've never been a back sleeper and can't believe I've been able to do it. Drugs, maybe? Can't wait till I'm ok'd for on my side. Good luck to you!! I don't think it can mess up anything.

Hard rock feelings!?

Hi everyone,
I am 3 days post ba and i feel like my boobs are hard rocking feeling. Is this normal? I have been sleeping on my sides since the first 2 days and i found it quite comfortable. Is that OK? How can get myself more comfortable in terms of the hard rock feelings? Your experiences/advice is much appreciated!

(I have 230 ml textured Cogels unders via the axilla incision on the 8th!)

I'm 8 days post op and I can sleep on my side a little. It does feel different that's for sure, but I'm sure that in time, I will be more comfortable with it. Hang in there.

I started rolling on my side almost immediately. I sleep very deep, was doped up in addition, and didn't even realize I'd changed positions until waking up. This was going against what I was told to do
Nothing bad happened, but I'm a big believer in following doc's orders. If in doubt, call & ask.

Someone mentioned (silicone??) nipple covers in another thread. Maybe some of the other ladies have heard of these or know where to purchase em?

I know what you all mean

Oh I am soooo tired of sleeping in a sitting position with all those pillows, its killing my back regardless of how much pain meds I have.
I cant wait to sleep in a normal position!

Hi Boobala,
Congrats to you too! I am getting much better today! Just the tightness feeling not really comfortable! I got all soft pillows on my bed and feel comfortably sleeping in a side position!
