recovery going well..

Well I am 5 days post BA.. Healing well... I have a very strict PS... He has set some very strict rules that are driving me crazy but I am doing the best I can. lol. I am still wearing the surgical bra and strap.. He has said that I am not to remove either of them until I go for follow up on monday.. At that time he will remove them to check.. The strap is bruising my armpits terribly and that is where most of my pain is.
I am also not allowed to lift my elbows away from my side.. This is driving me insane... I have a wonderful husband that is doing EVERYTHING for me and my great 9 year old son that has been very helpful... But I am ready too get out of these awful straps, lol.

Congratulations on your BA!

I know how frustrated and antsy you must be feeling, but please try to rest and follow your surgeons advice. It won't be long until you can do anything you want, you just have to get through recovery first.

Congrats

Yeah recovery can suck, but please listen to your PS instructions, it'll make life easier for you. Just think when it's all said and done you'll be estatic.
