Thumbs up Great 1 week follow up

I am so glad thats over.. lol I hate more than anything the feeling of stitches coming out .. But I was fine... lol, So my 1 week follow up went great.. PS said everything is healing wonderfully not a bruise on me.. Have to wear the strap for 3 more days and nights then I can burn it..
After that I am free to wear sports bra or cami... so excited.. Only thing that I was unhappy with is the size. but I know I have to be patient cause they will change... I really hope so.. lol
best part is I can finally take a shower!!!
Dont have to go back to PS for 3 months... I hope everyone else is doing great!!

Hi, I'm quite new to this forum, and having my BA March 16th. I have two very young children & I am going for overs, 400cc currently 32/34 a want to be full C baby D. How was the pain for you with overs, I'm having mentor silicone (gel) but wanted to know what you are a little disappointed about the size - are they too big or not big enough. Sorry to ask, I'm just nervous mine will not be big enough, hey paying for boobies - want some nice big puppies!!! But seriously, because going over I don't want to bottom out etc, what would you say ?

Keep resting & congratulations for you & your new boobies !!!

Wow, you don't go back for 3 months. I was there at 1 week for face and boobs, then 2 weeks for face then 6 weeks i go back for the boobs then 3 months. At least it is all in his fees.
Congrats.

lol, thanks.. To be completely honest the pain was nothing like I made myself belive it was gonna be. I was pretty sore the first 2 days after that just took the pain meds to sleep at night.. Really uncomfortable in the mornings but it goes away quick... I was dissappointed b/c I feel like I am only a small C and wanted more..However as they seem to be changing and swelling goes down I am likeing the size more.. still wish there was more but hey. PS said this was as big as he would go b/c of how little breast tissue I had to start with... He said that the skin and muscles had to streatch and if I wanted biger I could do it again next year... lol I will let you know how them change b4 your apt... Best of luck and keep us informed.. Welcome to JBI I hope I answered your questions.. IF you have any more feel free to ask...

Question

I seem to be more comfortable in the cami, mainly because it does not rub near the incision like the bra does... but quick question for you girls... I am calling my PS today b/c we did not discuss massaging, tell me your idea on this... How is it done and does it help..right now I slightly massage when I have sharp pain and it helps...

It's always best to ask your surgeon, they all have different directions. My PS doesn't think massage helps or hurts. I have never massaged and I haven't had any complications. If your PS wants you to massage they will show you how they want it done.
