Hi ladies,
Tonight my hubby and I are going out and it's the first time since my BA on 2/9/07. I am still wearing the sports bra and strap. Do you think it will be okay to ditch the sports bra for the night and wear a regular bra? The sports bra just doesn't cut it with the blouse I am going to wear. Also, I've only bought one post bra and it's underwire, should I take the underwire out too? I don't plan on wearing this bra again until another 3 weeks. I didn't want to buy a bunch of bras because I don't know what size I'll end up being and the underwire fit perfectly for now.

I dont think one little night out is going to hurt you. Maybe taking the underwire out of the bra you plan on wearing is a good idea. I went out about 2.5 weeks post-op and wore one of those bandeau bras.

I just wanted to wish you a great time. I don't really know the answer to your question although I would guess that if you took out took out the underwire, you would be ok...

I THINK as long it's not for a long time you should be fine. I did the same thing, but to tell you the truth it felt a little uncomfortable.

My PS told me its fine to wear a underwire, as long as it fits correctly, not pressing on the implant, therefore I had to go with DD since implants are wider. Otherwise I would fit more like a C. You should be fine, have fun!!

Thanks everyone. I ended up taking the wire out and believe it or not I could not wait to get home to put my sports bra and strap on. We had a good time, danced a few fast songs but's that was all I could handle. Can't wait to get out again but I won't be dancing for another few weeks.

I think it is up to your PS. my ps told me to not wear ANY bra until my boobies drop. I would ask you surgeon.
