![]() | Why can I feel lumps under my incision?
Is this normal? I still have steri-strips on them so I can't really see if the lumps are visible but I can feel them

My strips came off after 2 weeks. I am now 4.5 weeks post op and the scar lumps are almost gone. Might be time to take them off??? Good luck.

the incision will smooth out over time. mine were the same. now at 6mo there's nothing but the scar and you can't feel any hard tissue whatsoever.

yup totally normal- mine was from the internal dissolvable stitches... in about 2 months, i noticed that the hardness underneath my incision site was fading if not totally gone. my plastic surgeon suggested pressing/massaging on the incision at my 2 week (or 1 month.. i cant remember and regardless you should ask your plastic surgeon just in case) mark. i would press down on it while having some sort of lubricant (vit e oil or cocoa butter) on it... it breaks down the scar tissue too. I have the dissolvable stitches and mine still feel lumpy a month out. My plastic surgeon said to rub along the incisions daily when I do my boobie massage to prevent scar tissue from building up.

![]() | Lumpy too
I had my surgery on Sept 17th.. so I guess it's been more than a month and a half and I still have lumps. I keep massaging them often and with a good amount of pressure.. but they are not going away. I'm worried as well

Its all normal girls ![]() I had the same thing and totaly freaked out! If the lumps dont hurt it just your stitches under the skin healing, it way also be a bit lump from the scabs that are forming so it means your healing. But if by any chance/change the lumps start to hurt or feel like pimples let your plastic surgeon know. I had this last week (I am almost 3 months post op), and i was spitting a stitch which basicly means your body is healing an no longer requires that stitch. This only sometimes happens and it may need to come out like mine did. Make sure you keep those steri strips on for at least 3months and your scars will litteraly disapear. hehe no need to have them as big as your plastic surgeon cuts them though, my DH cut them so they were only as wide and long as the scar so maybe 1cm wide by 5cm long and i could still look sexy in bra's and bikini's. HTH babe xoxoxoxo
