Unhappy 5 month Post op pictures posted. Frustrated and upset.

I am 5 months today and decided to take some photos as it has been awhile. I swear the right side is looking worse. I seen my plastic surgeon 4 weeks ago and I flexed for him and he noticed that my right incision is attached to my muscle. He said there is a 60-70% chance it will improve on its own in the next few months. After looking at my photos today, I do NOT feel confident that this is going to happen.

The right side isn't as full on the bottom and the muscle needs to release so it will "drop" and my plastic surgeon thinks that the scar tissue attached to my muscle might be preventing this. He said if it hasn't improved by Feb or March he would reoperate on the right side to remove scar tissue. The ONLY thing that is a relief to me is that the revision would be covered by healthcare otherwise I would have to live with this.

I know I need to lose alot of weight and my boobs will look better - my plastic surgeon has even told me this. I will look better overall. Weight is a whole other issue with me and losing it is easier said that done. Even if I do have an opportunity for some guy to see or feel the girls, I don't want anyone to touch them or see them. They are uneven and the right is still firmer than the left and feels odd. From day one, my right one has felt like it doesn't belong. I know it was the smaller breast, larger implant and my plastic surgeon said that he had a "hell of a time" getting the implants in me because my tissues were so tight BUT HONESTLY, its been 5 months already!!! I have not seen any positive changes for over 2 months!

It is just so frustrating. I spent 10,500 canadian on my BA and I was hoping for close to perfection. I am just praying that things improve naturally in the next few months.

Sorry your going through this. I too am still going through it all. I am also grateful we have a great health care system so i did not pay for my revision either.
It will get better, it will be fixed. I would agree losing a bit of weight would help, I know how it is cuz I need to gain weight so mine will look better. Try not to get upset cuz you look great.

I know you don't want a revision surgery, but I agree that the right side needs to drop down. I'd go through with it to make yourself feel better. Hang in there!!

I'm so sorry you are suffering with both of the issues (weight and boobies). It's so ironic that we have this surgery to feel better about ourselves, and then something happens and we end up feeling just as bad as before, or worse! I know it must be hard for you and I sort of know how you feel as I have some history with a previous BA. I just told myself that I was greatful I wasn't in need of a life threatening surgery, cancer for instance, where so many women suffer through non-elective proceedures.

Try to be patient and listen to the advice of your plastic surgeon. It won't last forever and there is a solution coming soon for you. If you do believe in Karma, this is a great opportunity to create some positive energy and get things flowing. I'll help too by sending you positive thoughts!
