Twinges?
Hey there,
Wondering if someone could tell me what is going on with my boobs!! I had my BA 8 days ago and up until today they've been fine. Now I keep having these weird muscle twitches - my boobs suddenley feel like rocks and then gradually soften back down. Had this happened to anyone else? Do you think I might have been overdoing it or is this normal? I also have what are 'zingers'. Little sharp shooting pains so I don't think it;s anything to do with those. Thanks Katie x |

I think any little twinges and zips are normal. I would worry about pain that is constant or unbearable. I had a bunch of those little zings too or somtimes a dull pain that would last for 20 min then go away.

If you think you are overdoing it you might want to slow down. It's pretty normal to wake up in the morning, or any time you have been at rest for a while, with hard boobs, then they soften up as you move around. This lasted for me for about a month. The zingers you are feeling are normal too. It's a good thing even though they are sometimes uncomfortable. It means your nerves are regenerating and you are regaining the feeling/sensations. |

That "rocks" feeling is very normal too. Did you get overs or unders? With unders I'm now very aware of the muscle/fascia stretching over the implants. It feels good now and stretchy but I started at the "rocks".

Thanks
![]() I got unders - I wake up in the morning with the rocklike feeling but then maybe once or twice during the day I can fee lthe muscles kind of clamping down on the implants and they go like rocks again!!! Maybe I do need to rest a little. I've had the recovery fairly easy so far and I think because I have very little pain I might be overdoing it. Will go and lie down for a couple of hours and have a nap. Back at work tomorrow so not too sure how that's going to work- am used to my naps, will probably be asleep at my desk! Katie x Katie x |

My PS told me the twinges and zipps are normal. It's the nerve endings trying to heal. Give it time and don't over do it!! It does get your attention though, huh?

Well from my experience, as well as others here, the second week definitely seems to be a little tougher than the first. I too have the sharp pains and tight muscles. But I have read from others that this is normal and will pass with time. Hope you feel better soon. And....REST, REST, REST.

normal
Have had them here too! They are getting to be less and less, but do panic one at first. Sounds normal!
Rest! |

Very normal, and it will eventually happen less and less. I'm almost 4 wks. now and still get the "rocks" occasionally but not very often. As for zingers, I think they last longer. You will notice more aches/pains if you are overdoing it. You'll also feel more tired. Just be smart and listen to your body. Take a day to rest if you need it.

You might be over doing it a little. I know with mine I had twinges and sharp zaps now and then. When I asked about it I was told that it was the tendons and stuff healing and not to worry. If it was constant and got worse then I was to call. It is hard to sit still when you want to carry on and show the world but give yourself a couple of more days of laying low. After that - look out!!!

So they say...
LOL...so all the ladies say this is normal and unfortunately I have to agree with them, now liking it is something completely different, but I can relate and am still relating. I have to constantly be reminded of what took place and 4 weeks isn't going to get the job done. I have to constantly tell myself to be patient!! Now if you were to ask me if it was/is working I would have a different answer.
