Wink I hear ya

It's been 6 days since my BA and had been pretty good except for the pain I feel at night when I try to lay down a little. My right breast is very painful and seems to swell more at night, Ouch! It feels like it is going to pop out of my chest, I'm sure it will get better soon and so will you hang in there the first couple of days are rough but so far seem to be worth the sacrifice

Other then that i am feeling pretty good. I didnt sleep very good last night though. i woke up almost every hour. Morning boob sucks. For some reason its just my left breast thats really hurting. My right almost feels like nothing happened to it. I dont know why. I dont have much of a problem sitting up either. But i did my stretches and it seemed to help.

For me I didn't feel PAIN at all.

I think you should take you MEDS on time.I took my Meds continiously like 14 days straight.Until now I don't have any trouble about pain

Wow! I had that pain on my left breast on week 2 and was loosing my mind. One night it was so bad I cried myself to sleep. My ps told me it was the muscle doing something, God knows!. I hope you guys feel better soon. But if anything concerns you call your ps and ask them.

Hi. My BA was on the 8th and once I had my post op where the PS took all the bandages off I had that same feeling only on the left. It's getting better everyday and only really hurts when laying down for some reason. Or when I put the strap on too tight. You described it perfectly though (like it is on FIRE). My PS apparently had to release more muscle and tissue in the left because my left breast was more narrow. I'm thinking that has something to do with why it's only on that side. Do you remember if your PS said anything about one breast being more narrow? I hope it gets better soon (for all of us)!

Yeah, I'm remember that well and it sucks big time!! What helped me was using a hot water bottle or an ice pack wrapped in a towel whichever works better for you. The other thing that really helped, and I know it's the last thing you want to do, is massaging them as much as you can tolerate. I think this helps relax the muscles so they're not so tight. Other than that, it's waiting out the healing..Hope you feel better (and you will!!)

Ive found that if i push in on the outer edge of the implant that it feels a little better. Ive also started taking 1 1/2 pills for the pain and that seems to help too.

I'm glad you're feeling a little better. You get to know what works best for you after a while.

It's funny that everyone is feeling it on their lefties. My left side burns too. I thought this was weird b/c my smaller implant is on the left side. I would think that my right side (with 50 cc's more) would hurt worse. Glad to know that others are feeling the same way. We're all NORMAL! Well, at least our boobs are. lol. We are all about the same in our recovery time too. I had my surgery on thursday the 8th. We'll have to keep reminding ourselves "no pain, no gain".
