I am 6 days po and I have a weird worry. From all of the pics I've seen and all of the comments I've read, I am supposed to have very high and "freaky looking" boobs right now. I thought from day 1 that they look almost perfect. I can see the right one is a little high but overall they are in a good position. I thought they are supposed to be at my collar bone right now. So this makes me worried that something is wrong and maybe I'll end up too low or something. I have my po appn't tomorrow but I just wondered if anyone else went through this. I even looked at the progression pics on the site and I don't look like the ones that are at 1 week. Should I worry?

Did you get overs or unders? You usually are only very high with unders.

Also.... each PS does things differently. I've seen some women with unders who looked amazing immediately after surgery. I think it all depends on the pocket they create and how your muscles react to the implants. Mine were extremely high post-op.

Not all women have high and tight boobs. Are yours unders? You are very early post op to have any worries. Hang in there.

They are complete unders. Thats why I am worried. Maybe its b/c the implant isn't very big. I got 300cc/left and 350cc/right.

Hey, I have unders and I did not get the high square look at all. I was totally prepared for it, too, but nope. They look pretty much perfect from the very beginning. One is slightly higher than the other, and one is a little smaller (they were not the same size before...they'll be adjusted soon)
I say, be happy about it.
If you want to see my pics let me know. I took pics the very next day, and you'll see that they do not have the high square look.

It's not the size of the implant. I got 350s. It's just your PS's method and how your body reacts.

I'd be happy if I were you.

Thanks Denise. That makes me feel better. You can't help but worry when you are out of the norm. I guess I need to quit comparing with others. Everyone will have their own unique experience. But I can't help but to feel better knowing that someone else had a similar experience.

Your right Joy. And I am happy that I like the way they look. I stressed so much about getting a ba and it is a relief that I feel like I made the right decision. I just thought that I would hate them at first and than eventually fall in love. I guess it pays off to expect the worst.

Thats the bottom line... dont compare yourselves with others.

Everybody is so different! I really realized this from this forum. I am almost 3 mo p/o 390 unders and immediatly p/o i was not that high either. I just figured it was because i breastfed my kids. Anyway, they're good now but i sooo had practice patience.

Your still early in your recovery and there will be so many changes ahead... I'm sure you will love your girls more than ever when all is said and done!

Mine didn't look that high yesterday when I got home from surgery, but now that I have swelling they look VERY high.

I'm hoping that means the implants aren't very high and it's just the swelling making them look so horrible.

Mine are not high either and the have not been since they arrived. They are round and hard but starting to soften and I have noticed a little drop already.

I had 400cc unders and I thought they looked fantastic on the day of surgery - but from the side view I could see they were over rounded on the top of the breast - which is the part that has to settle - but from the front, they looked great. I think I was able to tell they were high because when I lift my arm over my head and act like I am going to shave my arm pits, I can feel my breast up in there - so I know they have to settle, even though they look good.

Like everyone else has said...don't worry! Everybody is different! I think that it has a lot to do with what profile you have too. I had mod plus and mine were a little swollen but never high and square. They really didn't change a whole lot from the day that I got them. So it's all good! Julie

Everyone is different...the moment my ps took my bandages off two days after my ba they dropped literally over night....the right one was playing catch up for a while but they were in pretty much the same position they r now...and I was never worried I was glad....I never looked freaky with boobs high up.

You poor girl. I had to chuckle when I read your post cause it's like, "I'm perfect! What's wrong with me!" I totally get what you're saying, cause all you've been hearing is they'll be high and it'll take from 4 to 6 months to drop etc etc. You're one of the lucky ones! Congratulations, I'm so happy for you and please feel free to feel happy for yourself!!!

I just got my tapes off yesterday so now I can see the WHOLE Boob. I can see that they are a little high now. I am completely NORMAL. I worried for nothing. I still like the way that they look though but my ps told me that I am going to Love him in a month. I can't wait to see the final product. And I am going to quit sweating the small stuff.
