7 weeks post op pain - help anyone

Hi Ladies,

I have been feeling this very uncomfortable feeling on the left side of my right breast in the cleavage area. I wear a lot of shelf bra's and not real tight sport bras but recently like today every time I take a big breathe I feel this twinge of pain. If I lean over it hurts too. It doesnt hurt to the point of having to take anything for it but just is enough to scare me a little. And it doesnt hurt when I feel around there but it is really bothering me today. Can it be nerves regenerating back? But then why would it hurt only sometimes?

Did anyone else have this problem. I see my PS next week for my 8 week check-up.

Thanks

Thanks Sue,

It's quite the problem. Here I thought healing was a breeze and then this creeps up and bam. Reality check!

I too would speculate it was just the nerves regenerating, that is why you are only feeling it occasionally. I have had the strangest sensations at the bottom of my breasts due to it.

If you are really concerned you can always call your PS. I'm sure he could calm your fears.

I just started feeling a lot of weird little pains and zingers in the last few days, all around both boobs, like you said, nothing really bad, but definitely noticeable. Almost makes me jump and say "ow" sometimes. And then it goes away. I really think it normal nerve regeneration. And that's good. We want our nerves to be back to normal, right?

Annie

Thanks Annie,

I do want to be normal but I was just going about my normal day and like you got that zinger to my new boobie. Caught me off guard a bit. This recovery has been so uneventful that now to get any kind of pain is a little concerning. But since several of us are feeling the same thing I need not worry. We all must be normal.

Thanks

Well, I have that problem now with lefty, but I am only 13 days out. I hope I don't have that at 7 weeks post-op!!
I figured it's from the inside of the pocket healing, and when the implant rubs in there it makes it hurt. That was just my assumption, though. Would love to hear what your PS says!!
