Hello ladies. Just wanted to let everyone know the boobies arrived today. I ate drank, and slept for a while. Overall, it is better than expected. I don't know how many of you breast fed, but I think if I heard a baby cry, my boobs would start squirting milk! From what I have read on the forum, tomorrow may be a litte worse. That's okay though. I love the gals already! It is truly an odd feeling to look down and see something. Seriously, it is such a weird feeling to go to sleep and wake up transformed. Does the massage jurt in the beginning? I am a little apprehensive about that, but I do know it is necessary. Thanks to everyone for offering me your insight and for all the kind words. I'll keep ya posted.

Congratulations! Thanks for letting us know how it went.

Yeah, it IS like engorgement. Funny, but I think that made the soreness less uncomfortable for me, because I associated it with fond memories of my two babies, now gangly teenagers.

LOL! I remember a day or two after my BA, I actually rested a can of coke on my boobs, almost without thinking. It's silly I know, but my reaction was to be THRILLED that I could do this. Of course now that they've dropped I realize it was partly because they were still so high, LOL!

I was told to start massaging around day 8. It did tend to hurt, the first few "presses" each time, and in that first week of massaging it would make them feel sore even afterwards. I remember around day 14 I played hooky from massage for a day and had no soreness, which was a nice break.

But the massaging also feels physically good, because it loosens them up and relaxes the tight heavy feeling. It's especially nice first thing in the morning.

So it's sort of similar to the mixed feelings you might have about massaging sore muscles. Like "OW and AHHHH!" LOL!

thanks for letting us know all went well.

i dont know much about massage but you have a very informative post from Jacqueline before mine. all i can tell you is to get plenty of rest and take those pain meds.

Stacy, congrats!! You sound like you are doing pretty good.
I also felt like my boobs were going to squirt milk right after! They haven't yet, but I heard that is actually a possibility...crazy, huh?
