Little bruising and some pain....

Hi there!

I had my BA on the 9th..everything seems to be going well. I have some small bruising near the incisions... they've gotten a little more sore in the area but I suspect that has to do with healing and getting some feeling back in that area.... kinda feels like someone is taking the eraser part of pencil and poking it in the bruised area..... any opinions? Normal? I'm pretty sure it's not a hematoma, but would I know?? What does that feel like??

Thanks
Lesley

I think you are still very early in your recovery and that is normal sensations. It might be caused by nerve regeneration and the tissue healing.

But if you ever have any concerns or questions like that it is best to call your PS to get their opinion. Some of the experienced girls will be along soon with a good answer for you.

Gosh, not sure what a hematoma would feel like, but I bet Monique can tell ya, if she hasn't already!
Get some rest, you almost have the first week under your belt!!
